Finding Happiness

Everyone wants to be happy. I do. You do too, I'm sure. But often it feels as if the more we want to be happy, the more happiness distances itself from us. After chasing happiness for years (and never catching up), there are people who start to believe that they will never be happy. But everyone deserves to be happy.

I would like to share with you a post I wrote on happiness for Divinecaroline.com a while ago. :

Happiness: The glue holding moments together
"What exactly is happiness? How does one find it? Have you found it? Many people often believe they will be happier in the future, near or far, when they get that new job, car, house, dress, or maybe when they get to visit a certain place. How about you? What will it take for you to be happy?..."

After reading the article, I'd love to hear your thoughts on happiness.

Love,

Liz

  1. You have to stop depending on other people to make you happy--not that great relationships aren't a huge factor, but you have to be proactive in the process.

  2. Happiness is defined differently by different people, but I think one key thing is acceptance/love by others. I agree with Liz though--it's good and wise not to rely on that and only that.

  3. Thank you for your thought-provoking post :) Happiness comes from within. I've known people who seemed to have everything and were unhappy, and others who had very little but were happy.
Happiness for me comes from following my passions in life, writing and reading, and staying connected with family and true friends.
